Easter in Pembrokeshire,

Easter is here and we are open again. Hard to think that is another year gone: missing Kellie who is in Australia and safe from having to serve hundreds or paninis this Summer! Looking forwrd to seeing returning visitirs and meting new ones.

Cafe re-opening for Summer Season

Time passes so quickly here and we are about to open up again for the season. Baking cakes, making soups, pates, pizza toppings and onion tarts. New coffee machine as well - a bit of a monster and just getting used to it. Makes lovely coffee but is a bit on the slow side. Sun shining today and everything feels hopeful. Hope to see you all again this year.

Busy on other fronts too - preparing for (Raul) exhibition at the Waterfront Gallery Milford in April and the Cathedral in August. Concert on 27th August in St Davids Cathedral too - to use an old phrase book early to avoid disappointment!

Snow in Solva

Snowed up or in or whatever the right word is and have reluctanctly decided not to open until after Christmas. So beautiful though so can't get too fed up. Have a good Christmas everyone.

Christmas and Winter

Closing now on Tuesdays and Wednesday until 9th January and then closed completely until 16th February 2011 for a refit.

Working on a recipe book this Winter while it is quiet and hoping to have it ready for early Summer next year.

We are putting on small Christmas events if asked - up to 30 people for buffet and live music or up to 24 for three course meal. Ring if you are in need!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we don't see you have a good Christmas. Remember Pembrokeshire is lovely at this time of year. Quiet and plenty of wild weather.

Pemrbokeshire Fish Week

Come along on 30th June to an evening of music and lovely food - 2 course meal (fish pie or vegetarian alternative plus summer sweet). Start at 7.30pm. Ring to book table on 01437 721907.

Easter weekend and Salsa lessons

Trying to work out what hours to stay open over the Summer - any ideas what would suit you if you were going somewhere. Often when I am away I want to eat by nine and go for a walk and then home to bed but then I am getting old!

Easter is here and the weather is taking a nose dive. Thick rain and mist here today. Feel sorry for all the kids wish it would be sunny for them.
Sitting planning Salsa lessons to cheer myself up. REckon if we move everything out fo the centre of the gallery we can taken 10 people at a time and just all enjoy it.

It is nearly Easter and there will be lots of lovely cakes and soup and fresh home made food at the Cafe. Hope there will be lots of sunshine too! Come along and enjoy yourselves.
